CHKDSK runs on every start of the computer

CHKDSK runs on every start of the computer

 

Solution:

Patch:

Please visit the following web link and download the patch.

http://www.kellys-korner-xp.com/regs_edits/disablecheckdisk.reg

Save the same on to the Desktop. Right click the same to find the Merge option.
Select Merge.
Restart the computer.

Manual Change:

Click Start and then Run.
Type REGEDIT and hit Enter.

Please set the following keys to the values shown.

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Winlogon]
"SFCScan"=dword:0000000

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Session Manager]
"AutoChkTimeOut"=dword:0000000

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Session Manager]
"BootExecute"=hex(7):00,00

Close the registry editor.

Restart the computer.
