How do I enable Java?
Internet Explorer with Microsoft Virtual Machine
From the "Tools" menu, choose "Internet Options"
Select the "Security" tab
Click the "Custom Level" button
Scroll down and locate "Java Permissions" and ensure that "Medium Safety" is enabled
Scroll down and locate "Scripting" and ensure that "Scripting for Java applets" is enabled
Click the "OK" button to exit
Restart the browser, open the web page with which you are facing the issue and check if it resolved.
Internet Explorer with Sun Java Virtual Machine 1.5.x
Step 1: Verify that "Scripting for Java Applets" is enabled
From the "Tools" menu, choose "Internet Options"
Select the "Security" tab
Click the "Custom Level" button
Scroll down and locate "Scripting" and ensure that "Scripting for Java applets" is enabled
Click the "OK" button to exit
Step 2: Verify that the Sun Java Plug-in is installed and enabled
From the "Control Panel", double-click on the "Java Plug-in" to open the "Java Control Panel"
Select the "Advanced" tab
Click on the plus sign beside the "<APPLET> tag support" option
Ensure that the box beside "Internet Explorer" is checked
Click on the "Apply" button
Close the "Java Control Panel"
Restart the browser, open the web page with which you are facing the issue and check if it resolved.
Note: If the Java Plug-in is not present in your control panel, you will need to download a recent version of a Java Runtime Environment (JRE) which includes the Java Virtual Machine from the Sun Microsystems Inc. Web site.

Step 1: Verify that "Scripting for Java Applets" is enabled
From the "Tools" menu, choose "Internet Options"
Select the "Security" tab
Click the "Custom Level" button
Scroll down and locate "Scripting" and ensure that "Scripting of Java applets" is enabled
Click the "OK" button to exit
Step 2: Verify that the Sun Java Plug-in is installed and enabled
From the "Control Panel", double-click on the "Java Plug-in" to open the "Java Plug-in Control Panel"
Select the "Browser" tab
Ensure that the box beside "Microsoft Internet Explorer" is checked
Click on the "Apply" button
Close the "Java Plug-in Control Panel"
Restart the browser, open the web page with which you are facing the issue and check if it resolved.
