Windows Update fails to install (Security Update for Microsoft Works 8 (KB955428)). This updates searches for works8.msi but this file is no longer listed on the hard drive.
Download KB955428_en-US.cab (6th file from above web link).
Save it then double click it to install.
Restart the PC.
You will no longer receive this automatic update.
